The thing about finishing your first draft is that you get to return to the work. Ideas can settle, new iterations can be tried and, over time, you begin to have a conversation with yourself. Things that seem to be random and one-off reveal themselves to be systems and patterns. This is what I’ve realized with Echo.
Echo is a design algorithm using rhythm and repetition to create kinetic typography pieces. I realize I’ve been developing this style for the last 3 years and I’m excited to finally put a name to it. I built a website to showcase it and you can check it out at: echo.romellogoodman.com
